Artist in restaurant is a project that works with in the frames and rules of Clarion Hotels proposed possibility of art production. With roots and critical inspiration from the increasing number of "artist in residency programs" all over the world. In a smaller and shorter version with the production and possible outcome of ideas that might only stay within and between the invited artists and accepted participants.
As time passes new ideas is developed and at the moment a new work is taking place with in the proposals and constructing space for itself in between a maze of decisions and expectations.
Longer than a chat and shorter than a vacation. A meeting series over dinner between international and local artist at Clarion hotel, will still take place but in a unpredicted, unwritten and modified version of it self.
During four week in March 2008, a table will be set for two artists per day to enjoy and experience a dinner as the final part in one of the possible chapters. |
